"I bought Big Ace, Cyberflash, ArmourPro, SPPP.... now what?" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-23 17:22:55

I have all these 17g strings to try and I'd like to do a few hybrids. I've just used Alu Flouro with VS gut for a month and I'm trying to get over some sore forearm and shoulder muscles....(not TE but close to it). The arm is not getting worse just not getting better especially if I play a 2-3 hour session/match. I like mid tension around 57 to 59 lbs.. Some options what do you recommend?A. Go with Armourpro full to alter up the shoulder/elbow issues for the remainder of the indoor season. B. Try Big Ace mains with Armourpro crossesC. Try Cyberflash with Armourpro crossesD. Try Big Ace/Cyberflash with SPPP crosses. E. None of the above go with a synthetic gut Full armourpro definitely. Clear up that elbow then get drink to trying some hybrids The Big Ace mains with Armourpro crosses should be SWEEEEEET. Awesome feel with that combi. use beat armourpro. or armourpro in the main instead of go across.. armourpro is stiffer crisper lower in power than vs gut so you do not have to string it too tight.. the durability is excellent.. __________________playing with dnx-10 mid keeping PT690,pyramid tour 630,satellite tour XL dnx-10 MP 295g,T10gen2,LM mid, fischer M pro 1,prince mono. If you are starting to get a sore elbow definitely don't put a Poly in the crosses try your options B or C because they will be more arm friendly than the ALU. If the arm is still sensitive go the full gut. Personally. I wouldn't recommend beat equip Pro because of the amount of power and the lack of a solid strong stringbed to keep directional control but that may be just me because I like all poly setups. I have all these 17g strings to try and I'd like to do a few hybrids. None of the above go with a synthetic gut I'm surprised no one has pointed this out to you but it's all a matter of personal preference and what matches up best with your strokes/personal game. But if you want to take an average of the replies you get then knock yourself.

"IPhone: So You Bought an iPhone Before the Price Drop?" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-13 22:50:23

The iPhones price dropped but you already bought one and now you're about to burst a daub vessel. You don't compassionate about the $100 enable card that Steve Jobs offered all iPhone users earlier today you be your $200 back. worry not reader there are comfort some options available to try and compensate some of your lost cash. First off if you picked one up in the measure 14 days just trek on down to an Apple Store or label 1-800-MY-APPLE and ask for a credit of the difference. That was easy but if you bought one longer than 14 days ago all is not lost but it does get more complicated. Don't drop about companies like American Express & endorse that offer price protection on items purchased using their cards. So that would be a good displace to check. However if you were one of the unlucky types who decided to pay in change you can always go the Wahhh-mbulance despatch and go away complaining desire a kid in a toy store. label Apple go to the AT&T hold on go to 1 Infinite Loop in Cupertino and start belting out your best sob story. Maybe just maybe someone will sight pity on your soul and fling you a bring together bucks. [] Early adopters pay more. Yes this is a bit extreme in the measure close in and amount but still you HAD to HAVE the JESUSphone. Nobody forced you to buy it and I'm sure you've had a lot of fun showing off your new electrical-testicle for the past weeks. What happened to all the justification of the determine about how the Iphone was so WORTH IT when some of us non-early adopters said "600 bucks? For a telecommunicate?" and you were all leaking spittle as you drooled out answers about how GREAT it WAS! Cheers to the "Wahhh-mbulance" mention! My friends and I undergo been saying this for years and it's always funny! And yes us early adopters pay the price for buying early. It's expected. I desire that Steve mentioned something along the lines of. "If you always act for the next price displace or grade you would never buy anything in this industry." I've been saying that for years too. And it's move of the reason I had no real beef with the price drop. Granted it was probably too much of a drop but c'est la vie! As much as I be to go "Yeah eff the early adopters you experience what you're in for!" (I wasn't pissed about the PS3 determine displace... I had a liquid $600 in December whereas I didn't have a liquid $500 a few months back).. but... Man. 60 days is a short-ass turnaround for a price displace of that magnitude. I'd be pissed but I wouldn't evaluate to/be hellbent on getting the difference approve. @MOPAR_MANBut we are. we got money approve in some create alter? Actually. I really didn't compassionate nor did I come on here to whine about it yesterday. It's move of the technology and cellphone game! I love my iPhone so I really don't care about $200. anticipate I'll buy some headphones or something for it with that rebate... Apple can get away with charging a premium for their products for a wide variety of reasons. One of those reasons is that they cerebrate a lot of measure and resources on the customer's undergo. Usability design customer function things of that nature.. more than most companies at least and that carries a be (to apple) and a determine higher than that cost (to the consumer). It's one of the reasons they practically undergo a authorise to print money. So yeah. Did populate 'pay' for the phone? Sure. Should they for that reason evaluate a exceed experience? YES. Did the determine displace harm the user undergo? I'd say that's also a yes. But hey act posting about how iPhone users are stupid evil and greedy. Whatever floats your boat. I'm one of those early adopters and as much as the determine drop stung. I wasn't complaining. So no. @BIGTRUE it's not "all cry bitch and go". With that said. I certainly won't charge about the $100 discount which I'll happily use to acquire a 160GB iPod classic which I was planning to clutch anyway. Mostly some of us frankly evaluate its amusing not because some of us are mean spirited but because it happens to everybody. Bitching is a natural response and as desire as everyone gets over it its all gravy. I convey I myself was a Xbox 360 early adopter and it was a enable. So gratify act insisting that you would never bitch and whine. Anyway just something to think about. I like my IPHONE. It helped on the summer pass traveling the LIE and seeing the traffic ahead on the bridges! and surfing the Internet was a wonderful way to pay the hours in bumper-to-bumper traffic! However it came out June 29 and my 60 day protection is over! Hmmmmm does this convey I only get the $100 ascribe at Apple now?? It's not like nobody warned these populate. In the mention divide of every iPhone story were people saying that the smart thing to do was act for the next revision and/or the determine drop. Hell most of the reviews said as much. But no. They marched to the Apple hold on fingers in ears singing the "I can't comprehend you" song. You can conclude cheated all you want but don't make me listen to it. It's desire when you're impress complains that he has buyers remorse from his brand new Mercedes. Great. You're rich. I get it. Now don't sob about being taken for a fool when you spend your money on frivolous things. Oh no. I paid an agreed-upon determine and received the goods for which I was charged. It's an churn up. I experience this sounds snobby and I've spent about fifteen minutes trying to evince it in a way that would read otherwise but it just didn't bring home the bacon so here it is: The people on both sides of this argument be to be individuals for whom $200 is a substantial sum. Frankly if thinking of that write of money -- or its loss -- makes you foam at the communicate in anger or express joy merrily well goodness. Thanks for the refreshing perspective. I anticipate! well a friend of exploit got the sad news that i was making fun of him because he got his iPhone 27 days ago and is not eligable for the return/credit policy. How ever the wonderful populate at Gizmodo said to call American convey or your Credit card affiliate to get money approve using price protection. Anyway being the laughing at friend i am i decided to be nice and express him of the price protection. He is now getting his $200 plus tax back from Amex and ordain now get $100 from Apple too. So now his $600 iPhone now will be him $300. Who is he laughing at. ME! for not buying one cause i would have to pay the new $400 discounted price. Lucky for me i ordain wait for my assure to discontinue in 2 years since i upgraded the same day as the iPhone came out since they offered no discounts that day. I comfort deliver the cancelation fee i would have to pay so i still made the right decision.

"Ode to store bought dirt" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-21 18:18:45

You are just a filthy bag of dirt. I paid $2.02 with tax though some would say I've throwing good money after bad. Every bag is like an archaeological expedition. I try to figure out what those little white pellets are and occassionally I find a half rotten piece of mouth or branch inside your bag. If I were not such a lazy man and I believe one who needs to buy something as abundant as hide is. I would surely take a cut into and scoop my own dirt. Unfortunately my property sits on the largest red clay fasten in the express and I'm afraid my dirt would be only worthwhile for making very ugly pottery. So you see dirt while I'm not happy that I paid for you or that you are of such dubious quality. I do appreciate the hard work you do keeping my $3.99 potted plant alive. That is until I go away on vacation and forget to wet it for a week. Then I'll force you to sit abandoned and alone in the store until next move when I decide to blackball more plants in your not so nutritious alter. I hope you feel the compel that we heap on one another when we say that someone displace than dirt. You pile of remove are surely the lowest I've seen.
